Students can hear from alumni with careers in fields ranging from digital technology to law to entrepreneurship to art to human resources and even to pizza during events this fall hosted by the College of Arts & 麻豆视频 Career Development office.
鈥淲e encourage students to explore, expand and connect as they think about their future endeavors,鈥 said Jen Maclaughlin, director of career development for A&S. 鈥淎lumni connections are an essential part of all three of these learning outcomes. By connecting with alumni, they can explore and learn more about career opportunities that may be of interest, without having to commit the time to pursue an internship or class.鈥
The series kicks off Sept. 13 with a featuring Lawrence Gleason 鈥88, who will talk about his career path and experience as an entrepreneur, an attorney and an executive in wireless communication firms. The talk is from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Students can to find out more details and the talk location.

鈥淚nside: Life as the Domino鈥檚 CEO with Russell Weiner 鈥90,鈥 5:30-7 p.m., Sept. 20. Learn about Weiner鈥檚 career path, his experience as a CEO and what it's like to work in business. Career Conversation with Zack Kollias 鈥89, 2:30-3:30 p.m., Oct. 4. Kollias is president of Applegreen US Travel Plaza Operations based in New Jersey, where he leads operations, finance, IT, human resources and all other functions necessary to grow the 350 food and retail outlets. to find out more details and the talk location.
Career Conversation with Jennifer Han 鈥98, 2:30-3:30 p.m., Oct. 18. Han is chief counsel and head of global regulatory affairs at Managed Funds Association (MFA) where she is responsible for the strategy and execution of the association鈥檚 U.S. regulatory advocacy and leads MFA鈥檚 regulatory engagement. to find out more details and the talk location.
Career Conversation with Andrew Lichtman 鈥07, 2:30-3:30 p.m., Nov. 1. Lichtman is a partner at Jenner & Block who represents financial institutions, multinational companies, technology companies and corporate executives in complex civil litigation and other types of commercial disputes. to find out more details and the talk location.
Maclaughlin encouraged students from all of Cornell鈥檚 colleges to explore these opportunities.
鈥淐ornell alumni are generous with their time and efforts to assist students, to answer questions from students, or connect them to the people and places that are crucial as students embark on their first experiences outside of the classroom,鈥 she said.
