Jordan Wylie
Assistant Professor, Psychology
Academic focus:
Moral psychology
Current research project:
I鈥檓 currently working on a project exploring what sparks curiosity in the moral domain and why. Right now, I鈥檓 especially interested in how moral curiosity relates to information-seeking behavior. We鈥檝e found that when people feel more curious about moral targets, they tend to seek out more information about them. However, this curiosity doesn鈥檛 seem to shift their personal moral judgments about the target. We鈥檙e currently planning follow-up work to better understand what鈥檚 driving this pattern.
